It's a BU player followup and it talks to and about Andy Bastock.

I love this kind of coverage and hope that it continues, especially since this is a pretty slow time of the year for sports except baseball.

I would like to read that. I overlapped at BU with Andy. I will resist detailed comment at this time, but suffice it to say he was an interesting character, and there were multiple times where I felt both sorry for him and entertained by his behavior. As with anyone, I hope he ended up on his feet.

There is still no link to the story. But Andy seems to be doing well. He is now the head coach at Lorain (Ohio) High School, which is where he was raised. Andy attended Lorain Catholic HS.

Ditto on everything you said. There are quite a few stories about Andy from the days gone by. But no need to share them.

Ex-Brave Andy Bastock was fired as head coach of the Lorain (OH) High School boys basketball team - but he still retains his all time school record as leading career scorer - as the team's star this season finished 3 pts shy of Andy's record.
