Many will recall Alan Huss...he's a Creighton grad and an ex-Creighton basketball player...
who first got into the coaching ranks with one single season at Decatur Christian School - when he built it into a big time prep school basketball program landing players from all over the world...
Then after just one season, the program was closed and Huss moved on...and the last couple seasons he's been at tiny Culver Academy...who have played in our Thanksgiving Tournament of Champions high school tourney...
Now, Huss has just taken another job...he's the new head coach at Laporte, IN's La Lumiere Academy -- a prep school that's had some basketball success,
but immediately one of the top 20 players in the nation has suddenly enrolled at La Lumiere, so it looks like Huss is building a powerhouse there, too.
The departing coach at La Lumiere is Delray Brooks, ex-IU Hoosier.
