???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
Exactly! Again this is only my opinion but I believe there's a BU player that will have a stellar year that no one is mentioning. I believe not seeing his name out there is very positive.

AW, SM, TB, WE ?
I'm personally looking forward to a strong year from all of them, especially from Andrew and Sam if they can stay healthy. Those two being seniors together and this being their last shot to leave their marks on the Valley standings and postseason. I hate getting this excited in July!

I'm alluding to AW. He will be completely healed from his injuries with a whole off season of getting ready by working out and practicing. I expect to see him challenge for the MVC scoring title.

I agree with you SFP. When you think about BU's potential with "The Big 3" -- SM, AW, and TB -- we potentially have 3 of the best players in the Valley. I've always thought that when BU (or any mid-major) has 3 quality players they will be very tough to beat.
If these three guys play up to their potential they will all be 1st team MVC and BU will be Dancin' in March.

I hope the big three are good enough! Does this mean I can start at center? I am 6 feet 180 lbs.

FWO, only if you wear 38" sleeves, have a 48" vertical standing jump, and, can palm a basketball in both hands at once!
IMHO Unless all of BU's perimeter players shoot 45%+ from beyond the arc this season, BU's fortunes will again depend on their interior players playing better defense, out rebounding their opponents, and contributing more of the BU offense.
