Leno will start at 9p. Great that the folks at BU could make everything work out...barring OT @ the soccer game.

By the way...saw the new jumbotrons at the new arena when I was on campus this past week to visit the ticket office...i snuck a peek and they are amazing. (well, at least amazing compared to what we've had) The new facility really is top notch.

You're just in a bad mood because of the way the Cubs have been playing this season, I thought they were going to be better, maybe the bigger Cubs, called Bears, will make us happy - we should be getting some preseason games soon.

As far as Leno, I like some of the guests and bits he does on his show. I don't have a TV, watch the next day on the computer so I can skip over the monologue if I want. I have a feeling that what he does out 'in the field' is different from the show. I would think his jokes would be more topical/regional in nature. Someone will fill him in on our teams, conference rivals and student life at Bradley. Also since this is a dedication night, wouldn't the band, cheerleaders and dance team be there and if Leno plays the crowd right, it could turn into a giant pep rally. If I lived in Peoria, I would definitely go. Show him a fun time and maybe we get some good publicity on national TV.

First of all, I like Leno. He has some redeeming qualities that work well with what BU is going after for a Homecoming. Leno really draws well across demographics, especially age. Conan doesn't do well with anyone much over 30. That's important for Homecoming.

Student and recent grads have grown up with Leno as the host of the Tonight Show. Everyone else saw him come up and take over after Johnny. So basically everyone knows what they are going to get with him: a good show and a name that will draw attention while bringing publicity to BU.

I'm not saying to go buy the PSO to guarantee your tickets to see Jay, but it is a no lose situation where they're trying to keep everyone involved. This was a great idea and will be a nice way to help break in the new digs.

ACBU strikes out every year with bands that I would enjoy. I think they are trying to appeal to 13 year old girls.

I was so pumped to see The Starting Line but they ended up not coming......

Max Bemis the lead singer of my 2nd favorite band Say Anything is playing his personal acoustic stuff (on the quad I believe). <<<<---- THAT IS EXCITING!

I will be at a ND football game for Weezer anyways!

Leno will probably back out and let Conan take the gig. Then, at the last minute, he'll tell Conan that he wants it back.

So maybe Bradley and Peoria will get a shout-out at the end of his show on 10-15 on national TV. That would be cool Maybe someone can talk him into putting some Bradley video on his show the following Monday - maybe he could tape one of his skits with some of the students. It's possible that good things could come from this. I like his show.
Bradley University and Peoria, Illinois got a shout out tonight on the Tonight Show for Jay's upcoming appearance.

Thanks ph, I'll watch it on the computer tomorrow It would be fun if they could get him to do a little skit with the some students or players from our teams and put it on his show plus give him some Bradley T-shirts to take back with him.

For those who want to watch his short shout-out to Bradley University and Peoria, Illinois... it comes after the first commercial break, click on the first commercial break and it's about a minute after that... Wanda Sykes and Rick Fox are the two guests if you want to keep watching. Rick Fox is still in the game on DWTS.

Leno should've had a segment with Bradley alums who live and work in Southern California that are prominent. Notably, Charlie Steiner, Ralph Lawler, Andy Masur, and of course Neil Flynn from Scrubs.
