I have seen cases where they excelled and were tremendous gets like Jim Les was...

I have also seen where the incoming guy takes away perceived playing time, and creates a chemistry nightmare (see NIU, SIU, Alex Legion, and a few other places as well).....

So I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I would trust our head coach to get it right....
I agree. I am not condeming them 100%. But, remember, guys transfer from a school for a reason. Im not opposed to a school like Bradley taking chances. I see taking a BCS transfer as a bit of a risk. I'm just saying that more don't meet expectations than do. Not just at Bradley but everywhere.

Marcellus Sommerville - Curtis Stucky - Dodie Dunson - Alex Majieka - Hassan Houston - Steve Kuberski - and don't forget Jim Les who came to BU from Cleveland State!!!
Mike Williams came from Cincinnati! One of my all time favorite Braves for what that is worth.

I am still holding out hope that M.O. completes the needed course by the end of the month to get in at BU for the fall, probably why the last schollie has yet to be filled.

              Don't think that's the problem!

Sounds like Colvin may be headed the JUCO route since no one was really chasing him hard like he thought they would. Hope he has a good year and lands somewhere he wants to be. He just did not have his attitude right at ISU but I hope he turns things around.

The NCAA does NOT consider players like Cellus as D-I transfers, and I guess they are the authority, since they set the terms and rules.
Cellus fits the definition of a 4-2-4 player...a kid, like Dodie, who can actually sign a LOI twice -- once when he went to Iowa, then a 2nd time coming out of juco.

Check for yourself, but the rules regarding academics, LOI, and everything else, differ for 4-2-4 recruits from the rules for D-I transfers...

Yeah I had seen real fan's post on page 1 but he kinda just glossed over it like everyone knows about that. I know nothing about it and was wondering what the deal is...
