True. But you'd better be able to counter the tremendous size that WSU and CU will be bringing to the table over the next few years.

Regardless if we continue to not make rebounding a point of emphasis or make defense a prioriety every night then yes you are right we will be fighting for middle of the pack status.

We have enough physical size and athletic ability to rebound and defend and to use what we have on our roster to challenge for a Valley title, but it all comes down to how this team responds and evolves on the glass and on the boards.

If you play a size of Egolf, Brown, Warren and either Prosser/Thompson/Knezevic with any guard that is enough size and skill to be competitive on the boards. Fundamentials both on the boards and in defending shooters is key to the Bradley season.

We know this team will score but will it commit to doing what needs to be done to be a great team?
We struggled rebounding for several seasons and it is important to have a true center in order to defend and rebound against the top teams in the conf; Egolf, Knezevic, Warren and Thompson are not going to become aggresive rebounders all of a sudden and Prosser is a 1st year player so that leaves T.Brown as our best rebounder , he needs help.

T - I've been around for a few years, but don't recall what you're referring to. Please elaborate....

I am of the opinion that there is a bias in the actions of the NCAA against certain mid-majors

I'm not sure how it is done currently by the NCAA, but is there a way they could use blind admission and clearance? Basically, the NCAA would get records and the information they need, but it doesn't contain the prospective student-athlete's name or the name of the institution they are applying to.

I seriously doubt that they want to do it that way...
They want to know all the facts before they know who they're screwing......

We had a true, atleast in size center, in Collins for 2 years and still couldnt board. I think if you commit to wanting to rebound and make it a prioriety, you can be a good rebounding "team"

I think a center who can control the paint, and yes that includes rebounding, is very important but it isnt an absolute must to rebound well as a team.

But rebounding is also linked to good positioning defensively. I am a firm believer that Bradley has not positioned themselves well at all recently on the defensive end of the court.
Then again I dont truely believe Jim Les has made rebounding and defending an absolute prioriety in his program.

You can say what you want about Molinari but when he was at BU if you didnt work on the defensive end you got a good seat to watch.

NCAA singling out BU in retaliation of the investigative reporting/muckraking by T?

There might be a good reason why these Canarias players are signing this late, hope we get one soon.
