    Interesting rumor

    I just heard an interesting rumor....for the local Peoria-area people who have an interest in high school sports...

    I have heard that two of the top athletes who were at Woodruff last year will be transferring to East Peoria HS, now that Woodruff is closed.

    One will be a senior and was the top hitter and one of the best baseball players in the entire conference and area... The other is a top multisport athlete...FB, track..likely will be the best RB in the area...

    I have heard that some may go to Peoria Heights and some to Notre Dame also. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

      YAY! Something to highlight our otherwise terrible football program! We needed him last year when we actually had good Seniors! lol

        won't they all be going to plenty of local schools? or you mean notable athletes?

          Many of the Woodruff football players are now at Central, along with the former Woodruff head coach. Central will have a far better football team than in the past several years.
