I think it sounds like Harris is not being counted on to be a Brave. I doubt Les forgot about him when he made his comments. Two steps forward two back. -
I disagree. I think they are still counting on Harris. But since he hasn't signed a LOI, the scholarship is officially still not locked in.Comment

so why interpret "I can't comment on that" as NOW meaning we aren't recruiting him...Comment

Fine he cant comment on the player but he sure can comment on the number of open scholorships available. If Harris was committed to one he would not have said he had 2 and one for the left over one from this year.Originally posted by tornado View Post

I don't think he's obligated to, nor wise to comment at all on recruiting...and in fact I'd even say he's fully entitled to be vague and possibly cryptic...
keep in mind, this is a local press that has twisted, turned, and stabbed coach Les in the back with the way they have reported lots things....the Ruffin story, the Prosser redshirt, the TB arrest, and even went after Coach Les for the simple way he answered questions about starters, injuries, etc...
Recruiting is an extremely tough, dog-eat-dog environment, and no coach in D-I would tip his hand by chatting with the press, so I guess I am astounded that the PJ Star would slam Coach Les with a stupid quip like this...

..because this stuff is exactly what every coach keeps ULTRA-TOP-secret....so he isn't likely to want to blab it all to the press!!Comment

My guess on this matter is we still have hope on M.O. coming to Bradley or there would be no reason for Les to have no comment on him plus if we were not waiting on him to take the last schollie then someone else would have by now.Comment

This whole summer has been aggravating as a BU fan.
We first lose that one dude to our rivals and then hopes of MO have turned into dim hopes and total uncertainty.

T, didn't Les actually comment on M.O. in the BradleyFans chat? He was willing to answer then with a simple "Yes."
I get why he wouldn't want to comment directly to DR given the history. He also might not want to comment because he is going hard after C.C. and wouldn't want him to see that we are still holding out hope for M.O.
If he supposedly didn't qualify into BU, let's get C.C. and have some great guard play ready to roll when we lose our 3 best (arguably) guards.
I want one of the two..and if Darius Smith is considering us (which I haven't seen reported anywhere) that would be a great get, too. I trust the staff knows what's the best option at this point.Comment

but things may have changed, and in fact, quite likely have changed since then...so I have no idea what the answer would be now...Comment
