There is also a possibility that BU's BracketBuster game on Feb. 17, and BU's regular season finale on Feb. 24 might also be televised.

While WEEK has lessened their schedule, BU looks to be making a significant number of regular season TV appearances this year. That can only help recruiting tremendously, as everyone wants to be on TV. Anyone know what's the most amount of BU regular season games that have been televised? I'd be curious to know that.

Does anyone know who is doing the games on WTVP?

The on-air announcers and play by play guys for WTVP-TV last year included Ed Hammond, but he is unable to do it this season due to a new committment to cover the new Bloomington Prairie Thunder hockey team.


I have spoken to the staff at WTVP, and although the personnel are not finalized, it appears at this time that Kurt Pegler will be doing the play by play for the BU men's games on WTVP-TV.

The Bradley schedule also lists these games as being televised:

Jan. 2 - MSU at BU (Mediacom)
Jan. 18 - BU at Creighton (NETV) (maybe this is why WTVP lists this date as tentative)
Jan. 31 - Creighton at BU (FoxSports/Comcast)
Feb. 7 - BU at SIU (FoxSports/Comcast)
and the title MVC Tourney game will be CBS, not Fox.

I think there was a hint that the local stations backed off a bit since so many of the BU games are being televised by the networks (ESPN, Fox) that they were concerned about doing so many.
