Shea Stadium has an old outdoor track but I believe the BU Track team practices at an area country club/rec. facility.

Markin Center on campus also has a track.

I think they use Eastside for some practices.

Any chance BU looks into expanding this program? It would be in line with our re-dedication to athletics with new facilities.

I believe the coaching job description stated men's and women's cross country and women's track with a focus on middle and longer distances. There was no mention of men's track. I think the men from XC run some meets during track season as "unattached" runners rather than as part on a BU team.

If we're not in it to win it, then I would agree.

I don't think you could find a BU athlete anywhere that isn't 'in it to win it.' I was just joking that we clearly would lose money on the sport.

                          Pretty sure it's a 1/4 Mile track.

standard....except it would need completely redone for use in a college meet

Very true......but it's a nice, convenient walk on a sunny day!
