  • Michigan dismisses one of their players

    Laval Lucas-Perry - once ranked Top 150 (138 ) & #22 PG nationally
but he never developed and was rumored to have off-court issues
Michigan also lost Manny Harris, DeShawn Sims, & Zach Gibson ...so they will be a young team, they will have no seniors

BTW- Michigan's leading scorer last year, Manny Harris, stayed in the NBA draft, but went undrafted. He has agreed to play for the Cleveland Cavalies' 2010 Summer League team, but I am sure Michigan would have liked to have him back for his senior year. But there were rumors he didn't get along with John Beilein (he was recruited by Tommy Amaker).
Harris has one of the more colorful names- Corperryale L'Adorable Harris. No wonder he prefers the nickname "Manny".
His name, Corperryale, is a combination of the names of his cousin (Corrine), an uncle (Perry) and the "ale" of his immediate siblings??”Janelle, Jerrelle and Al. He has a total of nine brothers and sisters and is the son of Merrick (Harris-Carter) and James Carter. His nickname, "Manny", was given to him by his father after a character in Scarface.
