It's almost July - time to get started with the pick-em for Bradley's starting lineup...but there's no penalty for taking your time, no extra benefits to getting your guess in first
....so everyone will still have a fair and equal chance of winning throughout the time available to guess.....
For 3 years in a row, despite 50-60 and more guesses, we have not been all that successful in getting the starting lineups guessed right.
NOBODY got it right last year even though the correct guess really shouldn't have been that surprising..
Chris Roberts, Dodie Dunson, Will Egolf, Taylor Brown, Eddren McCain were last year's starters but just about everyone expected Sammy to be in there.
So here's the rules for this year's contest...
--Everyone is entitled to one pick - and you can change your pick as long as you do it before the deadline.
--Since it would be expected that our practices & Red-White will start in October, then the deadline for guesses and changes will be 11:59PM on Sunday, October 10th
--select five players who you think will start the FIRST Bradley exhibition game...
--Since I anticpate there will be several who will want to pick the same combination of players, just posting first will not be the tiebreaker...
--Instead, as a tiebreaker, guess the total number of points that will be scored by the Bradley seniors in the first exhibition game
(Andrew Warren, Dodie Dunson, and Sam Maniscalco should be the seniors who'll be playing)
--AS A 2nd TIEBREAKER...guess the attendance...it is expected that the first exhibition will be played in the new arena, but I cannot guarantee that at this time.
so - good luck..........
and here are my guesses.........
--Dyricus, Sammy, Will, TB, and Andrew
--the seniors will score 40
--attendance will be 3501
the prize will be announced later but will be a biggie!!
