AP started again tonight against Boston, and after one quarter Boston leads the Raptors 27-25.
By the way, this is not the image I suspect AP wants to promote!

AP didn't have a great game. Raptors won in OT.

I had to laugh at the photos provided by Yahoo for the game. They (almost) all seemed to feature Boston 'doing' something. Showed one of AP fouling one guy. Another of a Dallas player going around AP (or something).

The Raptors won.

Why weren't there more pics of Raptors 'doing' something. They outscored them - so there had to be chances to provide photos of Raptors scoring.

I didn't check with my bookie - maybe Boston was 'supposed' to win this game... so it was all about Boston.

At any rate... the 'drive-by media' does another fine job of showing what really went on during the game.

If you watch any TV at all, be it ESPN, the major networks, or other cables, they seem to think the earth ends at the Alleghenies.

Even if a Chicago or Detroit pitcher throws a perfect game or if the Bears are crushing everyone, the first 20 minutes of every sports report always blabs on and on about the Yankees, the BoSox, and the Celtics.
Get used to it, as I don't expect it to ever change.
This is consistent with your observation that all the photos show a Boston guy, but maybe AP is in the background.

By the way, I wouldn't exactly say Anthony had a bad game....he didn't score much, but he did out rebound all but one of the 23 different people who played in the game, and he was designated (as you can see in the picture above) to do most of the work defending Paul Pierce, and did a pretty good job, especially in the 2nd half where AP held PP's scoring down and forced 4 turnovers.

The Raptors are 2-0 in the preseason and AP is the 2nd leading rebounder, and hitting 50% on 3-pointers.
