I would never say no chance, just realistically a very slim one.
Bradley by birth, Duke by diploma. Both forevermore.

This certainly shows balls. If there was any type of lull in the offseason workouts, this news would cure that.

I would feel better about this game if Bradley had performed better in their previous non-conference away games against the BCS schools. Unfortunately, BU wasn't very competitive at Iowa State, at Michigan State (2) or at Florida. Maybe there is a game in there that I have forgotten. I would be more optimistic is this was at a neutral floor at some in-season tournament.

No problem Braves4life. I hope life in Greensboro is treating you well, though I dont much care for your Avatar. There is one other thing I neglected to mention. Before you try Stubhub or anything like that , anyone who is looking at getting tickets should check out dukebasketballreport.com. Click the Ticket Exchange link off the home page, and you will likely find much more reasonably priced options. There is actually a thread there right now called "Tips for Getting Tickets" you guys should check out.

Holy cow! Good thing I check in once in awhile throughout the summer. What a great catch for Bradley this year! Granted this game might not go our way, but heck, if Butler almost beat them, then maybe we can!

Congrats to the Bradley coaching staff and adminstration for getting this game on our schedule! At the very least this will give us and the Valley some great exposure, and maybe help the Valley's chances for multiple bids.

As to this point I must remind you, that playing Duke for the title in your hometown with 75,000 screaming fans cheering on, and playing Duke in Cameron are two VERY different propositions. Not to be a Debbie Downer or anything.

I had never even heard of Duke until this game was announced.

                      Ditto...it sounds like a biker's name.

Where's it at? Somewhere in AZ?

That is a very good site. Bradley of course is my number 1 team, but I also follow Duke.

A BU home game tentatively slotted for Dec. 7 was scratched in order to accommodate the date in Durham.
That's refreshing to see, since the school down the street would probably rather have a home game against Grambling State than this one-time deal with the National Champions.

They're to good to schedule a one and done on the road.

I'm glad JL is doing this and I believe it is a very positive move for numerous reasons. I'm sure a lot of Duke fans are going to wonder who and the he!l we are and hopefully we'll show them. I like the early date of the game and with our experience back court it should help us.

Well said this with tongue somewhat in cheek (not completely in cheek though as anything can happen ). Of course we all know it would take a monumental effort and a lot of luck to beat them at their place. But this is why they play the games. So we'll know just how good or bad we are after we play them.
