  • Patrick O'Bryant update

Here are a couple articles from today referring to Golden State's practice yesterday. Patrick O'Bryant is back practicing after the broken bone in his foot. These 2 reports seem to conflict with each other a little.

    The Stockton Record says--
Rookie 7-foot center Patrick O'Bryant, the ninth overall pick last June, struggled in practice on Tuesday, with Nelson forcing him to run extra suicides because he was lagging behind everyone else.

But the Contra Costa Times says--
On the positive side..... Rookie center Patrick O'Bryant was impressively smooth at both ends.

I found another article that mentions POB.
This is some website that profiles the top players in the MVC this year

But here is a line from the article that tells you this writer might not really know too much about the MVC. Under the #5 heading, Anthony Tolliver of Creighton they say--
When it comes to centers in the Missouri Valley, there isn???‚¬?„?t much to choose from. Patrick O???‚¬?„?Sullivan from Bradley is now on the Golden State Warriors.

Did Bradley have another player make it to the NBA? Funny!

Patrick showed what I saw in Vegas his ability to knock down the mid range shot, he also ran the floor and converted a couple dunks, Nelson called him a very young gifted player.

It sounds like Patrick showed some of what the Bradley fans know he's capable of. I hope Nelson gives him the chance to play and develop. He will be one of the elite centers in a couple years.
