Here is how far under the radar Johnny Hill was, and how far his stock has risen-
The Sun Times, which does as good a job as anyone evaluating and ranking the high school players in Illinois, especially the Chicago area, did not even have Johnny Hill ranked in the Top 50 Illinois kids for 2011 in this ranking done in May, 2009-
Then in September, 2009 he was #39-
Then he was down to #47 in January, 2010-
And now in their most recent rankings, done April 13, 2010 (and updated 5/3/10), Johnny Hill jumped all the way to #16 in Illinois-

From everything that many of us on the board have heard, BU didn't offer and wasn't planning to. Please don't turn this into a "he chose ISU over Bradley" because that is not accurate. Same with Threloff...BU had STOPPED actively recruiting him, so it is not accurate to say he chose ISU over Bradley.
We need to get over ourselves and not compare everything with ISU. I detest ISU just like everyone else and after living in Peoria and working in Normal (3 blocks from the ISU campus), I still do not understand why anyone would choose ISU over Bradley.
However, if a kid chooses ISU, I think it is our responsibility as their main rival to hope the new recruit can help to keep them competitive. BU-ISU games like the ones we have played in Carver the past 2 years were a whole heck of a lot more fun than when ISU went through their 10 year stretch of not being competitive.#DunkOnYou

Nacho -- why come over to BradleyFans and argue...
almost every news item or new commit or signee at ISU is being discussed here first - sometimes for days here first before being mentioned on RBF..
This has got to be the best source for ISU news there is......
so just take what you want and let the rest go.........

the thread is about Johnny Hill, and in this post, PTownHawkeye says this
"From everything that many of us on the board have heard, BU didn't offer and
wasn't planning to. Please don't turn this into a "he chose ISU over Bradley"
---HE'S TALKING ABOUT JOHNNY HILL
Then you argue with him saying this...
"This entire thread and every linked article would disagree"..and then you give this link...
which is about a totally different player, Jordan Threloff...it has nothing to do whatsoever with Johnny Hill...
...sorry, but I cannot keep up with the silliness here and I am resigning from this "argument"...

so, again....one last time...
why is the claim that Threloff was offered by BU even relevant to your argument that Hill was offered by BU?
and PTH clearly said BU had "STOPPED RECRUITING THRELOFF" which it's obvious that he knows we offered, that why he says "STOPPED"...
SO YOU KEEP ARGUING POINTS THAT ARE IN OBVIOUS AGREEMENT WITH YOU ALREADY...
