Are we still recruiting him? Are we waiting on the NCAA to clear him? Is he still committed to BU? Can someone shed some light on MO? Would appreciate it.

Whats up with Mo?
In the last few weeks, we have gone from a virtual "sure thing" to "50-50%". What in the world is going on? I realize that WL and AD "may" be good players but they are as yet unproven. Without MO, this looks like another "Ho-Hum" recruiting year! While the NCAA doesn't allow coaches to talk about unsigned players, I feel that the complete lack of transparency on the MO situation goes far beyond this and has left BU fans in the dark. Fortunately, Jim Platt got AD for us but we haven't had much recruiting success beyond this.

2009: Prosser, DSE, JE,
2008: CRob, Dodie, TB
2007: SM, WE
2006: AW
Each year JL has nailed at least one player who was earned All-MVC honors or has the potential to do so. Talk about being picky. I'm not saying that translates to direct success on the court, but to say we don't recruit well is absurd IMO

If we don't get MO I will be very dissapointed in this years class. It will leave us openings for transfers or a jump start on the next years recruits though. I just feel he is the one who would contribute to this years teams needs. The other recruits could end up being better eventually, but for next year we need a player like MO.
I am not sure if we will know if he isn't coming until we sign someone else or the season starts without him. I will leave his picture on my Avatar for a little while longer.

Maybe with expectations a little lower this season, we will finally exceed them!
Going into last season, most BU fans were saying Top 3 for sure.
This season, finishing anything less than Top 3 would be disappointing, but most of us expect worse.
Without MO (or a banger inside), Top 3 is a stretch. If we don't solve our inside weakness (boarding & defense), we don't beat the top teams in the league...again.

Whats up with MO?
AMCKILLIP--- I have to take issue with you regarding our recruiting over the past several years. Overall, we have recruited good players but not GREAT players. No 1st team all MVC, no high NBA draft choices---Players who are good kids and good enough to place us 4th or 5th in the conference but not good enough to contend or win it! Also a number of hyped players who badly under-
performed and didn't contribute much.
Where are the Mitchell Andersons, Voice Winters, David Thirdkills, Donald Reeses, Willie Scotts, Hersey Hawkins, Jim Les's, Anthony Parkers, Etc? For whatever reason, we seem to be unable to land these kind of players which we MUST have if the program is to ever be more than mediocre. So, I still maintain that our recruiting has been "Ho-Hum".
Now we have some wonderful new facilities and we'll see if they help, but, thus far, not much has changed.
I believe the 2010/2011 season will be pivotable and if we can't rise above our current mediocre level, changes will need to be made.
