I love how we are so bored we have the same arguments every week!
I think the guy will make it big if he gets with the right team. I think he has all the tools to be the next Bird. He's a gamer and is not scared or timid to mixing it up. I like him and his chances, just rather, prefer to see him play another year at Butler.
The only part of his game lacking is consistant shooting from long range. Unless he is lazy or gets hurt he has all the tools a basketball player should have to be a good to solid NBA player.
I dont know if he will ever be in the class of Larry Bird, but there have not been many ever who have achieved the game Bird played.

Bored Go wading in the water on the golf course's
Things like who will he defend come to mind with me...I don't know
hahaa I am about to go out to MHCC and see what I can do in the casual water.
Some may disagree, but I'd rather win the MVC every year, go to the NCAA's, and have no draft picks than have an NBA pick here and there and dance once a decade. That's just me though. To each his own.
Me sixth or seventh! I'd have to say 99.9% of the fans on this site have to agree with this statement.

This will really screw up NCAA staff and set the kid back for at least 2 years while the genius's in the NCAA try to sort out his name to verify his transcripts and eligibility!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I see Hayward as having the potential to be a Scottie Pippen-type player. Maybe even an Anthony Parker-type. Bird wasn't a physical player but Hayward is even softer than him. I see him maturing into a good # 2 or #3 complementary player..... a lot like Pippen, Parker, or The Hawk.

Tell me why we should put any stock in your post and forecast on Hayward JK Friend

Don't go out too far on that limb.... you have him being a lot like anywhere between a top 30 player all time, a borderline allstar type, or a 4th/5th option on a moderate team..... so....

He may not be the next Larry Bird, for that matter what player will ever be. But he supposedly had a really good workout recently for his hometown Indiana Pacers who are run by Larry Bird so if you put 2 and 2 together I can see the Pacers pickng him with the 10th pick. I think Hayward could fall into that classic situation of being too small for a power forward and not quick enough for a small forward. However he seems to have a very high basketball IQ so it won't shock me to see him have a pretty decent 10-15 year career.

It's just that time of year when BU basketball is still a ways off but most posters are still wanting to talk basketball. That's what is so great about ths board. Can't be bored when I see the post is from B4L, SFP or Ben. You have some catching up to do.
