I saw Manute play in the NBA preseason exhibition game that was played at the Civic Center way back in 1990...man was he a skinny dude....

Interesting. . .in reading his bio on Wikipedia it says there were attempts to get him to play for Cleveland State around 1983, but never did for a variety of reasons (including their probation), which would have coincided with Jim Les' short stint as a Viking. While Bol doesn't appear to have been enrolled at the school, I would think the players at least got to know him.Comment
