wow - the Mountain West is trying to move to the Big Time...
wonder if they'll still want to play the challenge with the Valley ??

They are now trying to get Missouri and Kansas to join the Mountain West...

I hope the folks at the MVC are in this hunt as well..........we need to go after the roadkill from the Big 12 as it is a more natural fit for them geographically, except we don't have much football.......

The MVC can't really compete with the MWC. The MWC offers a very strong possibility to be included in the BCS.

But on a side note, how about Kansas at Bradley in the challenge. Or heck, Kansas at anyone? That would be quite an environment.

I don't think the valley has much of a chance of competing with the MWC without an announcement that several of our teams (UNI MSU SIUC ISU) that they're going to make the move to FBS and even then I think it's a big stretch as far as competing with the MWC goes. If the MVC decided to go crazy and work out the addition of four Big XII castoff plus like Tulsa and Memphis or something... All seems pretty thin to me.
