Willie Scott officially named Assistant Coach

It was nice to see all the coaches including Willie were on hand when I dropped off my son at Basketball camp today. The only one I didn't see was KV but he may have been on hand also.

With Willie on board I think we're in a much better position to recruit Chicago than we have been at any point in the Les era. I look forward to some positive results in the very near future.

I don't really know about this guy and his career at BU - really started following Braves hoops in early '90's, but knew about some of the Braves in the late '80's.
Seems like a good guy to have with a lot of character and genuine care for young men. I hope he can be an influence on TB, as us Braves fans expect 0 suspensions this year...from anybody on the roster!

I don't know what took me so long to reply about this, guess I was busy following the Blackhawks! Willie is one of my all-time favorite Braves, really enjoyed watching him play. He's a great addition to our coaching staff and the players are going to have fun/and learn working with him!
