Any Blackhawks fan know who he is. He only does Hawks games now as far as I know, how bout getting him to do the Natl. Anthem vs. ISU next year!?!?! (Maybe make it an annual thing???) I'm sure the BU alums would donate whatever they needed to get him down if he could come down.

Jim Cornelison
... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!

Great baritone voice. He is a classically trained opera singer, who retired fromperforming opera several years ago and is now a real estate salesman in Chicago.
Article from the Chicago Tribune yesterday about Jim Cornelison-
and an interview with him- the tradition of cheering through the anthem began in 1985, and Cornelison started singing in 1995.-
Jim Cornelison performs the Star Spangled Banner at the United Center before each Chicago Blackhawks game. He took some time out to answer a few questions ...
Example of his singing of the national anthem as the crowd goes crazy prior to a game last week against the Flyers-

so, applause or not, I really just want him to come sing a National Anthem at Carver (preferably against Il. State). Can we do anything to get him down here?...
