I have a few connections to Cody Roberts. A close friend did some personal track and field coaching for Cody and my wife was a teacher at NCHS when he was there. He is a top notch person and was an amazing track athlete. I've only heard positive things about Cody.

Ronnie Wright Is Still at Bradley

Hey guys, I realize the fact that Cody Roberts also has the title of Strength and Conditioning Head Coach is confusing, but Ronnie Wright has not gone anywhere. Ronnie also retains the title Strength and Conditioning Head Coach and will continue to work directly with men's basketball, soccer and baseball. Cody will work directly with our other teams.

I almost questioned this last night when I saw Cody added to the staff directory and Ronnie was still on the list. Besides, I would have expected the press release to at least mention Ronnie if he was leaving the program.

I went to high school all four years with Cody... I never really became his friend or anything, but he seemed like a nice guy. He is only 25 which seems pretty young to get a job like this, but now that I realize its not with the basketball team it makes a little more sense.

He won "best body" for our high school yearbook, so if that's not enough qualifications for you, I don't know what is.

First - Thanks for clearing this up.

Second - Hiring an additional strength and conditioning coach to work with our other athletes is a signal to me that perhaps we're finally making a commitment to start excelling in these sports rather than just treating them like extra-curricular activities. Perhaps it may even be a pre-cursor to adding more sports? That's purely speculative, but adding staff tells me that we're starting to invest in athletics.

Thanks BP for clearing that up.....I would be really upset if Bradley didn't retain a quality person like RW! I'm back on board now!

                      Strength Coach

Last month, in lieu of the traditional 1-2 year contract, Ronnie Wright was give a 3 month contract!
Not a lot of security in the Athletic department.
Kavanaugh, Merfield, Buescher,Brooks, and the Golf Coach all gone for various reasons.

Have you looked at the "All Sports" standings and/or the men's basketball standings lately? Many would say there should be more "shakeups".

what about a new baseball coach? Elvis is not getting the job done.

I would think Elvis is still in a honeymoon period and is not in any danger

Confused no, disappointed yes! Only because the instigator and her hatchet man, Cross, really do not seem to have "a plan" They are getting rid of people but, do not have a plan to replace them, with the exception of Ronnie Wright.
The terminations seem to be extremely "personal" and not soley based on performance
So far "the replacements" have left me 'confused and disappointed."
