  • Even More Proof the NCAA Goes Easy on BCS Schools

First - I reference what is happening at Michigan, where their really soft self-imposed sanctions will lead to the NCAA letting them off the hook as they have done so many times to other BCS schools..

But this writer, CBSSposrts' Gregg Doyel, sees the obvious, that NCAA really does not want to give fair and decent penalties to the big boys..

"The NCAA doesn't want to put Oklahoma in big, big trouble.
The NCAA's job, near as I can tell, is to hammer the small schools who break
the rules while letting the bigger schools, with the powerful lawyers, go on
about their business. You'll see it soon enough with Southern California, a
school whose football and basketball programs should be zipped into a body
bag and not exhumed for a year or two. Instead, USC will get some
probation, some more scholarship sanctions, something it can handle -- but
    not what it deserves.

Soon, we'll say the same thing about Oklahoma: The Sooners will get
something -- but not what they deserve."

..pretty amazing that Doyel would have the boldness to say this....even tho it's true...very few want to acknowledge this!!
