  • Some interesting measurements from the NBA Predraft combine

--Jordan Eglseder - long hyped as 7ft-1 inch, is really only a little over 6-10!!

--Adam Koch is a true 6-8

--Osiris Eldridge is not 6-3 as many have long suspected, he topped out at only 6-2,

--Iowa State's Marquis Gilstrap was touted as a solid 6-7, but is really only a bit over 6-5 - so this'll hurt his draft chances

--Eric Boateng was once said to be a 7-footer, is really only 6-9.25!

    Some more form today..
-Cole Aldrich is only 6-9 not 6-11...

-Evan Turner vertical leap 34.5 inches, John Wall 30 "

    -DeMarcus Cousins 6-9.5
    Eric Bledsoe 6-0.25
    Daniel Orton 6-8

-DeMarcus Cousins 16.4% body fat - one of the highest in the draft...

    -Craig Brackins 6-8.5
    -Sherron Collins 5-10.25

    more to come..

Not saying he cant or wont be a good player...but I'd be surprised if Cousins becomes a good pro. I wouldn't be surprised to see him slip lower and lower as draft day approaches.

I'm surprised he is even that tall. I was able to speak with him at an event 2 years ago and my eye level was well above his...I am about 6'4. I figured he was 6'0 or maybe 6'1.

Not suprised that these top guys have been exposed. Schools often do this all the way down to grade school. I would guess that this is common with players everywhere and not just the potential drafts.

Having said that, if Cole Aldrich is 6'9, did they measure his wing span? His arms appear to reach forever. Like Elton Brand and Kevin Durant.

Yes! It doesn't matter if Aldrich is 6'9" or 7 feet. He plays like 7'2" or more with that wing span and wide body. I think he'll make a good pro player for years.

Not that it makes that much difference but aren't these measurements taken in bare feet. I am surprised at Eglseder height. He looked huge.

Ya with shoes they are pretty much the height they were said to be. Here are the results:

Specializing in drafts with top players on the NBA horizon, player profiles, scouting reports, rankings and prospective international recruits.

Aldrich must have the thickest shoes ever. Most guys add .75-1.5 inches with shoes on, he adds 2.25 inches!

                Here are more: http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-pre-...nts/?year=2010

If you search Eglseder it says he is 6'10.5 without shoes and does not have a shoes measurement so he is probably about 7 foot with them.

I like the NBA testing. No exagerations on verts and heights. Looks like most of the heights are pretty close with shoes on.
