    Here's who has the most of the high school McDonald's All Americans on their roster this coming fall, 2010-2011...

    North Carolina - 9
    Duke - 5
    Villanova - 5
    Florida - 4 (but one is not eligible 'til 2011)
    Ohio State - 3
    Texas - 3

    Memphis, UCLA, UConn, Florida State, Washington, Tennessee, Kentucky - 2 each (UK loses four)

    Louisville, Georgetown, Miss. St., Alabama, Georgia Tech, Baylor, Oregon,
    Clemson, Pitt, K-State, Syracuse, Michigan State, Kansas, Illinois, Detroit,
    NC State - 1 each

    North Carolina proved last year that if you don't have the right mix of position players then all the talent in the world does not guarantee a winner.

      Isn't there some formula for winning a National Championship?

      X number of McD All-Americans = National Championship

      Oh wait, that's X number of 4/5 Star Players = National Championship

      I guess we still CAN hand the trophy to UIUC without playing the games.

        One sports writer found that in the last couple decades, almost no team has won the National championship without at 3 or more players who went on to play in the NBA.
