Jerrance Howard contacted by Kentucky about assistant coach position

Kentucky assistant Rod Strickland was reassigned to an office position after his latest DUI. So John Calipari is looking for a new assistant coach. It's reported that he has contacted Illinois assistant Jerrance Howard about the open assistant coach position. Howard previously worked at Kentucky under Billy Gillispie.-

UIUC doesn't need him. BAM is a great coach and has recently been playing "the game" with the CPL (not the Chicago Public League, but rather the Chicago Politics League) and has gone along with their bullying tactics in order to get top recruits. So UIUC shouldn't have a problem letting him go.
