    Thirty-six Bradley Student-Athletes Earn Degrees
PEORIA, Ill. ? After 12 Bradley University baseball players and track athletes took part in a special commencement ceremony May 5, 24 more student-athletes will earn degrees during the school's traditional Spring commencement ceremony Saturday morning at Carver Arena.

4 men's basketball players, and 2 women's players, will participate in graduation Saturday.
Sam Singh must be getting another advanced degree.
Chris Roberts and Ryan Phillips will get their bachelors degree.
And Andrew Warren is graduating, too. Great work by Andrew to finish his work in 4 years, when he knew he could have slacked off and taken another year if he wanted, since he redshirted.

    Congratulatins to all the student-athletes.

How many credits does AW have to take a semester to stay eligible now that he graduated. Sounds like he can take it easy this year and really concentrate on basketball.

I think the NCAA requires an athlete take a minimum of 12 credit-hours per semester to be considered enrolled as a full time student. I am sure he can find enough grad courses to maintain that.

You have to maintain full-time student status. A full time Grad Student is 6 sem hours, as long as they are 500 level or above.

You are right- The NCAA defines Full-time student as 12 credit hours per semester, but makes an exception for graduate students. For grad students, the NCAA defines full-time as "Enrolled in a full-time graduate program as defined by the institution".

          Here is the NCAA rule-

          NCAA Bylaws 14.1.8.1 and 14.1.8.2
          Requirements for Practice/ Competition
          PRACTICE:
Enrolled in full-time program of studies leading to a baccalaureate or equivalent degree.

          COMPETITION:
Enrolled full time as defined by the institution but??¦
Enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester or quarter hours, regardless of institution??™s definition of full-time enrollment.
A graduate school student-athlete must be enrolled full time according to the institution??™s definition of full-time graduate school enrollment.

Some schools define full-time graduate program with as few as 6 credit-hours per semester, and some define it with 9 and others with as many as 12 credit hours.
