Did anyone question his talent? I haven't seen that anywhere. Nor do I see anywhere where I said I wouldn't want him on my team.Onward and Upward!

Lebron did almost all of it himself...but in the playoffs...when all the vets were locked in...ready to play for these other teams...you gotta have some help...and Cleveland just didn't have it.

1st off...its not his job to placate the Cleveland fans....and Im talking about being a leader on the court....
In the 2010 playoffs Lebron averaged 29.1 pts, 9.3 rebounds and 7.6 assists...and not one player on his team voiced a problem with Lebron not caring or leading the team....Id say he was their leader.
And in the last 3 losses to Boston, he put up averages of 21ppg-11.7rbs-8assists.....and people say this guy quit?.....Looks like he played his butt off.
But hey...I guess Kobe's a great leader huh?....Demanding trades on the radio when all of sudden his team isnt stacked to his liking...ask the people in a certain health spa in Utah if Kobe is a leader, but hes one a few titles with loaded teams, oh wait, I forgot being a leader isn't all about what you do ON the court. Kobe would have whined like a 6 year old if he had to play with this team Lebron had in Cleveland and he would have left or made a clown of himself trying.DUBL R 1

If you take Gasol and Jamison out of the equation (probably the 2nd best players on each team), I think that I would rather have the Cavs talent. Now does Jamison v. Gasol make that big of a difference when you figure the difference between Mo Williams and Derek Fisher and AP with Ron Artest? No.
The biggest difference between those two teams is the leader of the team and the coach of the team. Kobe is a much better player and Phil is one of the top 3 NBA coaches of all time.

My point was that it is debatable. Artest is probably a bit better, but Fisher v. Mo Williams is no contest. Odom v. Mo Williams talent wise would be a better comparison really.
The two years before they got Gasol they trotted out a team that Luke Walton and Smush Parker were their #3 and 4 options, so I am not sure what the point there is. No one doubts that Gasol is better than both of those guys combined.
The Cavs roster is not as pathetic as everyone is making it out to be. LeBron didn't win when it mattered the most. They managed to win 60 games with that roster, but it wasn't good enough to beat an old mash crew of the Celtics? Also, the 66 win team the year before wasn't good enough in the primetime to beat the Magic.
Take LeBron off there, and I still think that team with a few minor additions could sneak into the playoffs next spring as an 8 seed. Wouldn't that be neat, Cleveland v. Miami in the first round next year. Of course it will be a Chicago-Cleveland matchup as the 1-8 seeds.

It's official...
now we can officially say that LeBron OWNS ESPN.....
and I guess he gets his way in everything they do....
check this story out....
an ESPN reporter followed LeBron around for a weekend, took careful notes and composed a column reporting the precise truth about what LeBron did on his weekend in Vegas..
BUT some of it like drinking in the bars, flirting with ladies, and gambling was considered a little un-complimentary towards His Highness, LeBron,
and maybe His Highness complained about the story -- so some higher-up ESPN editor pulled the story and it's now offline!
Does anyone else think this kind of butt-kissing treatment is only reserved for LeBron?? ESPN can ill afford to tick him off I guess.

I am, far from the only one who thinks this kind of treatment for Lebron is unprecedented and shows how far from fair and objective our coverage is....they really kiss up to some people like LeBron.......
