I know LeBron plays the point sometimes, and he certainly distributes a lot, but he doesn't need to control the ball like DWade does. In either case it's going to be an excellent team if Bosh joins either one in Chicago (probably via sign and trade-- hopefully Deng, but we may have to give up Noah to make it happen, which I'm totally willing to do, btw).
Wade is a shooting guard.....he would blend well with Rose. Lebron would "steal" minutes from Deng at the power forward spot and while thats.....ok , thats alot of $$$$ sitting on the bench.

A sign and trade with Deng for Bosh or LBJ would be ideal although I don't see Cleveland helping LBJ leave UNLESS they realized he was gone anyway and this would at least get them something for him.

I think Toronto understands Bosh is gone....I would like to think they would do some trading.

Have you ever watched D-Wade play? His lining up at shooting guard doesn't dictate how he plays the game. He's an isolation machine!

He's still a shooting guard and IF he was along side Rose and Wade or Bosh (or all 3 ) I think he could/would adapt.

Alot of what he does is out of need since the Heat aren't that good.

Dude, you can't look at how someone plays on this board, only what the roster says. I had the gall to say Evan Turner wasn't really playing PG for OSU and was told I was blatantly wrong despite the fact that if you actually watch him it was clear he was playing as a 3.

          • There is no feasible financial way to sign Lebron, Wade, and James. 3 max contracts would be almost 50mil, and even getting them to take a paycut to 15 mil each (which they wont do) still wouldnt be possible. The only way of signing even two of them would be to trade away Luol Deng and free up a little more than 3 million dollars, which is easier said than done.

Also, I know there are a lot of Wade rumors going around, and I know it's been confirmed that he's met with the Bulls twice and is very intrigued, but I don't necesarily trust him. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that Wade may be meeting with the Bulls as either a diversion to try and get their minds off of LeBron so the heat can concentrate on him, or to see what the Bulls sales pitch is like so he can tell the Heat what the Bulls are doing that they are not. Pat Riley and Dwyane Wade strike me as the kind of people that would do that.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Wade and Bosh are both supposedly making self-documentaries about each of their respective free agent processes, where they videotape meetings between themselves and teams. If that is the case, then I'm sure a lot of what is going on right now with meetings is for show, and has more to do with making drama than actually considering offers.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

            • James plans to announce decision on free agency Thursday at 9pm ET on ESPN.

              • He's going back to Cleveland. There's no way he goes on ESPN to just rub it in the faces of Cavs fans. It's disappointing, but hopefully the Bulls can deal for Bosh. If they get Bosh and LeBron goes back to Cleveland, I have to think that Wade comes home to Chicago. If that happens, then LeBron stays in Cleveland and still doesn't win a championship. Ouch!

Maybe he just wants a chance to let the people of Cleveland know firsthand exactly why he's moving on to play for the Bulls and to thank the people of Cleveland for all of their support?

If he does end up back in Cleveland, I hope the Bulls can get Wade and Bosh.

                  • This could be great entertainment if done right. Have representatives of each team there. He could do like the olympics when they said Chicago you have received the least votes you are eliminated. then they show Gar/Pax with tears running down their cheeks as they go to commercial. After he picks his team they could show the rejectees jumping on planes to get to Boozer and David Lee and over-pay them.

That could be. I have heard rumors. I just don't see what Cleveland has that Toronto would have any interest in trading for.

They have less cap room than any of the other teams.

I always thought Lebron would stay there then I changed my mind. I can't see him winning there and I thought he was leaving, now people say he is staying. I'm out of the loop.

I'm with ya there Ben. The way this whole thing has played out is rather sickening..... players conspiring to pick their own teams. Gimme a break!

ESPN's ticker disagrees with you. Apparently the Raptors are willing to do a sign-and-trade with the Cavs but Bosh doesn't want to play in Cleveland.

If Bosh backtracks and goes to the Cavs, then the Bulls should be the favorites for Wade. Get Wade and Boozer or Lee and you're still in the thick of the Eastern race.

If Bosh continues to hold out on Cleveland, the Bulls just need to make sure that he doesn't go to Miami. That would leave the Bulls empty-handed.
