  • Sam Smith on possible Bulls coaches

A couple former Braves coaches mentioned. I would be shocked if either were considered though. Another former Valley player (Mo Cheeks) is Sam's choice.

If the Bulls follow typical Bulls protocol, they'll go on the cheap and have a presser saying that their 5th or 6th guy was 'their guy' all along.

I'd like to see either Scottie Pippen or Reggie Theus coaching the Bulls. Don't ask me why, I don't know, I just think they would do a good job. How about this one which I would also like - Dennis Rodman - that would really be interesting

Why don't you like me, can't I have an opinion? Why can no one have an opinion other than yours?

In Article 7, Section 4 of the bylaws defined herein, "No Opinions Allowed" only factual statements that will be later verified by the PJS. Although I thought we were free to trash talk another school's program at will. Now it seems even totally harmless ramblings and rants are 'out of bounds'! So just to be safe I prefer to sit it out and let DC and T provide all of the news fit to be printed, that way we don't have to worry about speculation, rumor or opinions! So just read, accept and follow along like a good little boy!

Where did I say that I didn't like you or that you couldn't have an opinion? I merely asked a question.

I concur! BU Rick what meds are you on when suggesting Dennis Rodman as a coach for any team. Maybe the same as Dennis Rodman??

I lost all use for pippen when he refused to come off the bench. Should have been released right then, no matter how good he was. I didn't like Noah and his actions when he played for Florida, but the little I like about pro basketball I like the way he plays now.

I'll answer your question and the answer is, no medical pills. I've reached the age where my body is going to do what it's going to do and I'm fine with whatever happens. My advice to you is to drink a lot of water every day, water cures a lot.

Can you see that I don't like doctors.... but anyone reading this.... don't listen to me, do what's best for yourself.

If DR coached our bigs....we would win the valley instantly.

No we wouldn't. They'd disregard offense completely, just like Rodman did. While our bigs could certainly use his defensive and rebounding skills, they do need to be offensive threats. We don't have MJ, Pip, Toni, and Kerr to kick the ball out to the way Rodman did.

More like if they played ball like him, not coached or acted like him!

The guy was entertaining but he had plenty of baggage.

Ummm getting back to the topic of head coach.

I think the best choice is Tom Thibodeau. He is regarded as one of if not the best defensive coach in the NBA. Not a glamorous choice and after the Vinny choice I doubt the Bulls go conservative.

That means pretty much either Mark Jackson, Larry Brown, Mike Woodson or Avery Johnson.

Rodman or Pippen give me a break.
