Who are the Braves starting 5?

Here is the latest I have heard-- Sam is recovering well this time, after the second knee surgery. The first surgery failed to heal and he required the second procedure. But despite the good recovery, I think they will keep to the original announced plan of beginning on-court activity in November, and working into shape to begin playing around the end of December.

Early on I thought XC and RB would be Big -Time players for the team this year.........both of them gone for the season really hurts !

XC would not have been close to big-time this year. hopefully in a couple he will be able to contribute

Agreed. I believe this will be the starting 5 to start the season.

I think this will be the lineup as well. But .. I think JC contributes heavily and starts some games based on matchups.

The reason I have JC as 6th man is becuase I cut/pasted what I had stated in the thread regarding a contest for the starting 5, 1st off the bench and leading scorer in the 1st game of the year.

But as a possible explanation as to why JC may see time often and early is because of depth at the 4 and 5 spots. So if BU is gonna go with 4 guards, JC and his size may help in a 4 guard lineup.

Outside of that - there is a lot of love here on this board for JC. I hope he does bust out of his slump this year.

The big reason why JC did not play much last year is because of his defense not his offense.That is why JJ got all of his time on the floor is because of his defense.Until JC learns how to play defense he will not see much playing time.
