Binghamton placed their former coach Kevin Broadus on indefinite paid leave earlier in the season, and replaced him with assistant Mark Macon, who was named "Interim Head Coach".
Today Binghamton announced they have signed Macon to a 2-year extension to remain their "Interim Coach".
This move is probably to avoid legal issues while they decide what to do with Broadus. He is considering legal action against the university, and has claimed the actions are racially based.
Broadus is accused of numerous NCAA violations while he was the head coach.
