  • Indiana loses on it's top big man target

Indiana's recent #1 recruiting target, juco big man Dwight McCombs made his decision late yesterday.......

He had previously stated his top 3 choices were Indiana, Arizona State, Auburn, & MTSU, but he has announced he's going to Central Florida..

Indiana is still looking into whether IU doctors will clear Emmanuel Negedu who was denied a chance to play elsewhere due to a life-threatening heart arrhythmia...
but if they fail on Negedu...maybe John Wilkins will end up at Indiana?
btw-- John Wilkins just made yet another visit elsewhere...PM me to find out......

No. He visited Houston (CUSA) last weekend.

Sad. He just sounds like a VERY confused kid who's being pulled in too many directions by too many people.

Former Iowa State assistant Daniyal Robinson recently took a position on the staff at Houston....I'm guessing he was the guy recruiting Wilkins at Iowa State, so I can see why Wilkins visited Houston.

If John Wilkins thinks playing basketball at the University of Houston is an upgrade over ISU, Bradley or any other school he has visited he is sorely sorely misinformed.

University of Houston plays in an arena that makes WIU gym look modern, it is a commuter campus and has the support of about 2,000 people.
