Historically speaking yes it is. This year you can make an argument but the MVC cannot compete with the Pac 10 when it comes to recruiting and overall revenue potential. This should not come to a surprise.

There will always be fans that do not understand the reasons why coaches leave for better money and numerous other reasons, Dana did a good job at Creighton but the last few years have been average and if I was him I would have left for more money and a change of scenery before his value decreased, the Pac 10 is much higher then The Valley and always will be because they have football.
