I don't remember seeing this posted before, but here is an opportunity to see BU sports teams in action for free!

Perhaps the mods can make this a sticky, so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of new posts?

I think they should do something on campus to get more students downtown for the games.

      Here are two proposals-

--buy the ticket on campus and ride the bus, and get a free hot dog or soft drink at the arena.

--Buy a ticket package---pay for two BU game tix, and get two more of your choice for free. And if BU wins, the ticket stubs are good for 10% off at the bookstore (or something like that!)

I really think that promotions will not help. If Red Pride doesnt get more people to the games, than I dont know what will. There seems to be two groups of kids, those who will do almost anything to make sure they see the game, or those who are completly apathetic.

I think we just need to indoctrinate incoming freshman with a sense of, when its basketball season you will go to the game and stand and cheer, otherwise we really dont want you here.

I think they should do a presentation during the EHS classes for freshman about going to basketball games.

honesty. i think the university does a great job trying to get the students involved. most students overwhelming focus is their education and classes first and foremost.with bu being a small private school it will never have the students participating like the university of illinois.

you can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink.

Bottom line... continue to win and be successful.

The more the team wins - the more the students will want to be a part of it.
