  • OT: Bulls upset Cleveland!

The Bulls withstand a barrage of three's during the last two minutes, and a missed three pointer by Anthony Parker at the buzzer to upset Cleveland 108-106.

Now of course I am a big AP fan and would like to see him get that ring, but tonight was the Bulls night, and of course I'm pulling for the Bulls to upset Cleveland right out of the playoffs!

But if for some reason the Bulls fail to accomplish this tall task, then of course I will be pulling for AP and Lebron to go all the way.

AP's shot brought back his heave against SIU years ago....I had flashbacks of him draining it. I agree...as big a fan I am of AP's I cringed when he released that shot. It had eye's.....

That reminded me of Butler's last second shot against Duke, or CR's shot against Oakland last year. You just never know when those will go down!

Yes, it most likely is. Good luck AP in earning that ring!

Of course the Bulls lose by 2, when Drose should have had a huge and 1, that was reversed.....

I hope the Bulls keep Vinny. Lot of interesting off season story lines for the Bulls already. I would fire Paxson for what he did. Other than Rose and possibly Noah, this whole group might be gone by next season. But I think we won't end up getting Joe Johnson or Dwade or Lebron. I think we will get Bosh and maybe a Kyle Korver type to shoot 3s and resign Brad Miller to have a core of:

                Rose/Hinrich
                Hinrich/Korver
                Deng/Korver
                Bosh/Gibson
                Noah/Miller

                I'd be happy with that.

I think Vinny did a great job this year for a second year coach. My question is if the Bulls did not think Vinny have enough experience as a coach, then why did they hire him in the first place???

Yes, my respect for Paxson has really dropped. Unfortunately, he's the one that needs to go!

Both Vinny and Pax should be shown the door, but Reinsdorf is too close to Pax to fire him until he absolutely has to.

I could see Joe Johnson because the only other team that may offer him the max is New York, and they don't have Derrick Rose. A Korver-type would be a great addition for the team. Stoudemire would be my top target (after LeBron of course).

I don't think they can re-sign Miller due to the weird cap hold rules. They get a ton of cap room because Miller's contract is coming off the books, so they wouldn't be able to re-sign him if they spend the 12 million or so of Miller's contract that comes off.

I thought I read somewhere he would take a 1-year cheap deal to stay in Chicago. So if we get him cheap, we might still be able to keep him too in the scenario I described. If we get Joe Johnson also then there would be no way.
