    I've seen others that put CA at nearly twice IL by year end -- $21 Bill versus $12 Bill. Regardless, the state of Illinois is in some pretty sorry shape.
    CA's population is 37 million almost 3 times of Illinois' 13 million. Per person Illinois is in the lead!

    OOB you would love CA's real estate tax law. It never changes. It is pretty bad here but if California finds a back bone or political will it has the potential to raise a ton of money and pay its way out. The problem like our Feds is that special interest usually has their way with Sacramento.

      yea -- that's why the one article says Nevada is tied with Illinois at the #1 spot..because they base it on per person data..but the debt, especially in Nevada...is NOT going to be paid off by the citizens of that state...but in Nevada's case, most is paid off by the visitors, as Nevada has no income tax.
