I can't argue with any of those. Though I thought both Eastman and Simms-Edwards showed vast improvement over the course of the year.

Agree... I would have preferred to see DSE as most improved player.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I love DSE, but TB was most improved. What I would like to see is DSE get most improved next year!

My main complaint is that I find it hard to reward a guy for a seasons work when he missed games because of his actions.

Ya I can understand that. I kind of feel the same way. All the other awards I can't argue with. I'm not against TB getting the award though I guess, him or DSE would have both been fine on the court choices.

Great job to all the award winners! Good luck CR and RP, keep it up SM and TB!

I think the Most Improved Award goes to the player who improved the most over the previous season. I have never heard of a Most Improved Award anywhere going to a freshman or first year player.
And Taylor's performance was clearly the most improved. His numbers improved more from freshman to sophomore years than anyone in recent memory.

Congratulations to all the award winners!

Can DSE qualify for most improved?

As in from game 1 to game 30 improved?

IMHO, that would be the criteria that I would use for the most improved player for this year's award.

Guess it depends on the interpretation if it is through out a year or year to year. I would accept either when giving the award.

Took the words right out of my mouth, Benni I could not agree more, friend There should be no awards for a player who was suspended and even more so for one who was suspended twice DSE, would be my choice because he was the most improved from game one
Congrats to SM, CR and RP
