Lemon is scheduled to play in an All-Star game tonight at SLU.
I can't go. I don't know if any one else in the St. Louis area might be able to swing by and give us a report...
I like that thinking mrcoachdude.
I also think this might be the year to consider a transfer with the final scholarship. There are already a lot of decent players transferring, and more to come as the school year winds down.
With all the returning players we would be better off looking at one of the elite transfers .
Here's an interesting comment and I think it applies to the possibility of John Wilkins signing with Indiana...
On his radio show, Dan Patrick (used to be with ESPN) apparently said that if Indiana has a couple more bad years and things don't "work out" for Tom Crean, that Indiana will go after and hire Butler's Brad Stevens...
It doesn't sound too far fetched considering some of the IU fans actually would love to dump Crean and go after Stevens now...

Of the four schools, IU, Iowa St, Bradley, and Ill St ... Indiana is the last school JW should attend if he wants to win games.
So let me get this straight. Wednesday (or the next day as well) should be the days that we sign whomever we need to get for next year? Therefore we should know for sure who's coming in next year?

Not necessarily. In a perfect world yes, but since when has anything been perfect. I hope JW does make his choice by then and if not I'd bet a ransom he is then waiting for someone else and we would be playing backup.

A few years ago, recruits would mail in their signed LOI's, so it would take several days to hear about them. But for the past decade or so with faxing being widely available, most LOI's are received the first day of the signing period. But recruiting can continue after that date, and signings can occur up the last day of the signing period (May 19).
Also, players can still commit after that date (Taylor Brown commmitted in June, 200 but the NLI is no longer valid.
