    CLEVELAND, Ohio ? Bradley University is one of two schools to place both a male and a female on the 2010 Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association Scholar-Athlete Teams. Men's basketball junior guard Sam Maniscalco (Chicago, Ill./St. Patrick H.S.) and women's basketball senior forward Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia, Minn./Waconia H.S.) each earned a spot on their gender's 10-person Scholar-Athlete Team announced by DI-AAA ADA Wednesday morning.


    Bradley University is one of two schools to place both a male and a female on the 2010 Division I-AAA Athletics Directors Association Scholar-Athlete Teams. Men's basketball junior guard Sam Maniscalco (Chicago, Ill./St. Patrick H.S.) and women's basketball senior forward Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia, Minn./Waconia H.S.) each earned a spot on their gender's 10-person Scholar-Athlete Team announced by DI-AAA ADA Wednesday morning.

    Congratulations BU! Also, Congrats to the MVC -- 3 0f the 10 men and 2 of the 10 women named were from the MVC! Wow!

      These are great honors for the University. Any kid with academic integrity should look at the potential that BU can offer them beyond the hardwood floor. Way to go Sammy, again making us proud!
