  • Well the first talk of Wilkins I've seen on another team's board in a while...on the Iowa St. board. They seem to think they are not in contention for him, which has been the feel I've gotten from some on here lately. They even called their own program "a joke"

If Iowa St. is out, and if Indiana doesn't end up offering it would be between Illinois St. and Bradley.....oh boy!

    Come to Bradley JW!

Then BU must have been the "punch" line when they drilled us by about 25 points this year.....

Interesting it talks about his coach thinking he could get 3 1/2 to 4 years eligibility. 3 1/2 he might already have by rule I think, but 4 would probably have to come from the NCAA. I think they would rule in favor of him there if they have any integrity in this issue.

The problem with having 3 1/2 years left is what do you do with the half a year? I wouldn't want that on my team unless it was the second half of a year, which it wouldn't be, because it'd be like losing a player to injury mid way through the year.

Either way lets just get him to commit to BU then worry about all that.

            • I think if he had 3 1/2 you wouldnt see him play till January that really the only and best way to deal with it. Would also give him even more time to put some bulk on at whatever school he chooses.

But if you do that, unless they reverse the 5 game suspension with the new rule, he would be missing 15-17 (10-12 non con) games and he already hasn't played for a few years. I don't know if I'd go that route.

I don't know, because didn't Legion have 2.5 years left when he went to Illinois?
