Kyle Rowley leaving Northwestern

7-foot Kyle Rowley was at one time ranked as one of the TOP 2 or 3 kids in the state and jumped at a chance when offered a scholarship at Northwestern..

But he's slow, immobile and hasn't played much and has been injured...

Rowley may be more suited to a mid-major, but could be an Eglseder-like player..

Kyle Rowley - now landed at St. Mary's - maybe thought going from Northwestern to SMU would enable him to get decent playing time and be more successful...after averging only 2 ppg at Northwestern...

but....St. Mary's is good and they play a very tough schedule - and poor Kyle still can't find much PT...playing only 9 mpg and averaging 2ppg on 38% FG shooting. (maybe still aimed too high?)
In fact - Creighton transfer Kenton Walker - now a senior also is just a sub

BTW -- 7-footer Kyle Rowley appears to want to follow in the footsteps of another 7-footer who
wants to be a chef...Patrick O'Bryant...
