  • Cornell - Kentucky

So far a good start for the team with the Bradley colors as Cornell is out to a 10-6 lead at the under 16 timeout at 13:26. They are only 2 for 7 on three's, but Cornell is certainly not afraid to attempt them. It also helps that they have a 7 footer at the number 5 spot! I think that's something Bradley needs to look into quick!

I also noticed another familiar Bradley trait: the Weave!

Hey, if it works, good for them!

Hah sorry must have started the same thread at the same time.

Which is it we should look into the 7 footer, or popping 3's a lot?

Finally figured out how to delete the other one, it took me a while.

Go Cornell! I hate Calipari and Kentucky, this is the one team I don't want to see win it for sure left. I really want Cornell to win. Do it for Andy Bernard (The Office reference)

I have both games here in Cincinnati. Xavier game is incredible. I love their team. I'm 110% BU fan, but did mildly adopt Xavier as my 2nd team when I moved here a couple years back. Wish BU could get Xavier and Dayton on their schedule.

        32-31 X at half.

Maybe a little of each. But with a 7 footer, you know our inside game will be better. Maybe not against a team like Kentucky, but against most others.

I'd love to see either or both of those teams on our schedule too. They would both count as big wins with the selection committee even if they are not BCS teams per se.

Great comeback by Xavier, so hopefully that momentum will carry over into the second half. We had the early part of the game in Chicago, but the Cornell/Kentucky game is our featured game. Try 670thescore.com if you want to see the Cornell/Kentucky game as they are airing all tournament games.

Live college basketball scores and postgame recaps. CBSSports.com's college basketball scoreboard features in-game commentary and player stats.

You can watch all the games through CBS. The HD view is great!

They have the KU-CU game out here but I'd rather be watching the Xavier-KSU game. I expect that KU will blow out CU when it is all said and done.

I pulling for an Xavier - Butler elite 8. I also just saw an interview of the Butler coach and they asked him if its great to be a mid-major and he responded that there are no mid-majors when you play!

I sat right next to Luis Colon on a plane a few years back (he is long!). Huggins recruited him to K-state and he had nothing but good things to say about him.

Cool! Great way to stick it to these elitists in the media!

I'm afraid you're right about the KU/CU game as KU ended the half on 30-6 run! I don't know if KU is just so great or if CU didn't unravel somewhat. I know CU missed a few open 3's that could have made this game a bit more interesting. But I wouldn't count CU out just yet as a few made 3's could make things a little closer.

KU reminds me of the Memphis team that beat us, longer, quicker and all around better then CU. There will be no comeback in this game, book it.

                      You're right SFP. I predicted UK would win by 20+..... I wouldn't be surprised if it's 30+.

I'll just be happy if Xavier wins. Eliminate the whole state of Kansas once and for all!

Xavier is on the cusp of losing control of the game. But still relatively close, though KSU got away with a no-call just now. 56-51 KSU, with under 8 to go.

Don't look now but Cornell is still hanging around a bit, down 40-30 with 7:37 to go. It's not like Kentucky is shooting the lights out either.
