Why? If someone is not happy why would anyone want that person to stay?

BTW this happens all the time everywhere, maybe not every year but every program deals with transfers.

I dont think it is that big of a deal. McCain wants to leave, you wish him luck and move on, hope its not personal, it likely business and everyone deals with it. People of all walks of life leave all kinds of opportunities everyday.

And it is now another opportunity that Les has to fill a scholarship that was not available yesterday.

While I am unhappy about this and I hope EM all the best, I don't think this is something out of the ordinary. Students change schools all the time, for a variety of reasons. I think it is noticed more because he is part of the team. I don't like it, but understand if he wasn't happy here, go someplace that makes you feel good. Life is too short to be somewhere you are unhappy.

                Good Luck EM!

If the player is not producing and is not happy here, would you prefer it if he stuck around and tied up a scholarship, instead?
Turnover is good in cases like these, IMO. It gives us a chance to use the scholly on a player that wants to be here, and hopefully will be a more productive player on the court, as well...

And Eddren can find a place that is a better fit for him as well...that's a win-win...

I would agree with this, it would be very wise of him to finish up this semester.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for EM here, thanks for what you contributed to Bradley EM and i wish you great success in your future.

Well so much for the McCain and Norris era I know these things happen a lot, but more than I would like to see at BU. What is confusing and concerning is we have coach's and players leaving in the middle of the season and not finishing a semester I have a real concern for this young man and the direction he will take. What I mean, is he has had so many set backs and unfortunate thing's happen to him in his short life. I just hope he has family or someone to help him. What I have heard is the young man was liked by all who knew him. I knew and said before the year started, with the return of AW and if his total game did not improve, that his PT would go down. I never thought it would come to this after 33 starts his first year of playing
I could picture a couple others leaving but not him. Major player his freshman year and gone the next This was to fast, something happen to spur this sudden move
                      Good Luck to young man

EM if you are reading these there are a bunch a guys on this site with a ton of real life experience and the common thread here is that you should finish the semester before anything else. Good luck and you will be missed!
