Love his name. It looks like he had some good schools on him but MAN, this guy makes our "Sticks" look like fat.

Here is more on Treg Setty- He is more of a wing player than an inside player. He likes to shoot the three. He missed much of last summer's AAU circuit because of injuries. At this point, Rivals reports that SIU, Ohio, and Miami-Ohio were his only offers, but he has had interest from a number of other schools.

Rivals is not yet reporting the verbal, but Scout.com does have a premium article-
          Setty makes his pick-

Here are a couple clips from the article-

Treg Setty felt a connection with a Southern Illinois, so on Wednesday the 6-foot-7 the class 2011 prospect gave them a verbal commitment.
"They were the first ones to offer me in the first place," Setty told Scout.com. "Ever since that I had a connection with them. I just felt liked they really liked me. I got really close to all the coaches there."
Setty also claims scholarship offers from Ohio and Miami-Ohio and had received varying degrees of interst from Notre Dame, Virginia, Minnesota, Georgia, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Xavier and Virginia Commonwealth. Setty, a standout at Maysville (Ky.) Mason County, which is the same school that produced former Tennessee standout Chris Lofton and current Kentucky standout Darius Miller, hasn't taken a visit to Southern Illinois, but is planning to head to Carbondale (Ill.) this weekend.

So he's more of a Fay type player?

Fay played mostly an inside, post player type of game in high school and was converted to the more perimeter position he plays at SIU. It sounds like Setty plays more of a wing position in high school, and doesn't have the inside, post experience. From the articles describing him, he sounds maybe more like Ethan Wragge of Creighton, or Klayton Korver who played for Drake.

Well, Wragge wouldn't be too bad, if he could play ANY defense...

Korver turned out to be above average...

So I guess he's got that goin for him...

Kaleb seems to be very lazy...

Its very hard to live up to that name, and almost impossible at that school...

Thus one going to Drake and one to UMKC.

I realize he's only a junior...but the story says the SIU staff watched him in the Kentucky high school playoffs...
and in the three games (total) the kid had 18 pts, 13 rebs, 5 asst...

(that works out to 6 ppg, 4 rpg, and 1.7 apg)
and his season scoring average was 14 ppg...
