Wow surprised at this news. Heard some other rumors but not this one. I agree with the sentiment we now will need to make 3 hires instead of the 2 I expected.

Anyway, best of luck to EB and thanks for all the contributions.

Willie Scott (former BU player) is a successful head coach in junior college in Chicago. He is a friend of JLs, and he is as well connected in Chicago as anyone we could get here as an assistant. I saw him at a recent Bradley home game. I think Air Petey knows more than he's telling us.

I had not heard that about Willie Scott.

I disagree on "too expensive" as they may be getting buyout packages and may be willing to take a slightly less salary to stay in the game.

Kent could probably go to another DI head spot right away, so I don't think he would take a lowly associate head spot, unless he felt he could be the heir apparent. I don't think Bradley would fit his desires or vice versa.

Lickliter might make the move and would help with defense.

Eric was a hard worker and always enjoyed listening to his scouting reports before the game, since he is leaving I would like to get 3 new asst"s with one of them being a strong recruiter in the mid-west.

Seems like a drastic move from the West Coast. He would be a qualified coach though.

Ditto. Tireless worker on the court, plus pretty successful so far as a scout and Depaul Asst. Also, depending on what happens with the Depaul job, he could be available....

Yes, although "slightly less" may still be more than even Coach Les is making, which still is too much money, obviously...
