This was the first issue out, and has been out the longest,
so I won't spend a bunch of time on it.
Richard McBride is on the cover, as are Sammy Mejia & Notre Dame's Russel Carter.
They have the MOST advertising of all the issues I have seen so far, everything from shavers to TV shows, and from online gambling websites to chewing tobacco!
In fact, there are so many ads, that some of them are set up to fall out of the issue and drop a reply card into your lap as you are reading it, like Time magazine does.
Since the ads were such a huge and annoying problem, I won't waste a lot of time on this one.
But going to the Valley section,
page 137, they pick
1-SIU

10-Indiana State
1st Team All Conf.: Afearn, Falker, Funk, Stout, Wilson.
They pick Creighton and SIU to make Sweet Sixteen, Wichita State to lose its first round NCAA game and MSU to go NIT.
They really have virtually nothing new or intelligent to say about BU or any MVC team.
