Well, it all starts at the top, & ODU has a very good coach IMO...(enough said)

ODU is the type of team that Bradley should aspire to be. They don't make the NCAA Tournament every year, but they seem to be in the running for the CAA championship most years. Last year was a down year for them, but that seems to be more the exception rather than the norm.

I expect Bradley next year to be where ODU is now, or to be a highly seeded NIT team at the very least.

And I still believe that Jim Les is as good a coach as Blaine Taylor is. But next year will go a long way towards proving my theory.

More upsets in the making as #13 Murray St up 62-60 on Vanderbilt with under 2 minutes left. I was waffling between picking MSU or Vandy, but went with Vandy, though that's as far as I had them going. So either way not a big deal if I lose this game, but I already picked a 13 seed in Siena, so I did not want to tempt fate twice!

Also #14 Sam Houston St. giving Baylor a battle, tied at 46 with about ten and change to go.

A familiar name to Bradley fans, Isaiah Miles has a 17/7 line going

And Murray St. pulls off the upset with a buzzer beater, 66-65!

Looks like I might have picked the wrong #13 seed, though Siena might pull this off later on too!

What a day so far for the middies! Love it! And yes, I picked Murray State in my bracket.
I don't pick every mid-major, but I root for every one of them. It's great to see them have a moment in the sun, a moment on national television the power conferences enjoy all year. Let's keep this tide rolling -- good luck tonight, Panthers!

                      Go Racers!

Love the upsets! Especially by the midmajors over the majors!
Just hope the MVC can get a win.

Talk about the major screw though...

                        Look at your brackets guys....

Today UTEP (mid) plays Butler (mid) and now the winner of that game faces Murray State (another mid)...

Not only do the little guys get little pub and less teams, they also have to now play each other....

Yeah, way to go NCAA & CBS!

Notre Dame getting a #6 seed is about as ridiculous as it gets..
They were arguably the 8th best team in their league and loses to Loyola Marymount, and half the lower end of their own conference should have proved it..
They are a classic example of a team that does NOT pass the eye test, but got in anyway and gets a #6 seed when team that beat them out in their own conference got a #9 seed and no 8th best team in any conference got a seed that high...

ND getting a 6 isn't as ridiculous as UTEP getting a 12 and having to play Butler in round 1....thats simply a JOKE!

but it makes sense in light of the obvious bias..
ND gets a #6 because it is a selection committee gift...
UTEP gets reamed, then Butler gets jabbed by having to play the toughest #12 seed in history - of course both are mid-majors
