Ok good, I was hoping so. JC is one of my favorite Braves. Someone else will be leaving then I assume? If so, does the staff already know who it is?

I agree with JC being one of my favorite Braves as well, but if it's staff "experience" that people have a problem with, then why keep the most inexperienced "coach"?

I have heard Eddie's name bantered around in regards to the Morton job.

I was gonna say...how could he leave our excellent baseball program and go to Morton's ..then I realized he parted ways with our baseball team the year I left. I think he was still helping the pitchers though...

Does it seem like JC doesn't have much of a voice....He doesn't seem to say anything at all.
I like assistants who have a voice when the head coach is focusing on something else. I am not trying to breach post deletion but....I feel that our assistants are glorified statisticians...

I've heard JC brought a lot more to the table than some thought he would initially, especially in a role (basketball ops) where a lot of input usually doesn't come from. I think he'll be back.

Kyle Vogt - Additional assistant....focuses on guards..with Les?
JC - Edits game tapes...organizes everything to get team going?

Yes, but experience is overrated at times if the talent is there. JC displays the qualities to be a talented coach IMO, and BB said he has heard he did a very good job in his role as coach. Experience can still be added to the staff in other areas. Who knows JL's system and what he wants better than a guy who just recently played for him, so you could argue he's been gaining experience for his job since he's been here.

I know what you're saying and I have absolutely no problem with JC being on the staff and would hate to see him go elsewhere. At the same time, I would hope everyone else on the staff "knows JL's system and what he wants" as well. I was just wondering why it seemed to me like it was the inexperience of the staff that was bothering people, but the most inexperienced "coach" is the one that's most welcome to stay. I didn't know if it was simply because he used to play for Bradley?
